My name is Abby, and I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach who’s passionate about helping people find balance.
What does balance mean?
Many people assume that they’re “not a gym person” or “not fit” because fitness isn’t their entire life. But I believe fitness is for everyone. Not only can it be enjoyable, but it’s also proven to:
- Lengthen our lives
- Reduce our risk of chronic disease
- Reduce pain from daily activities
- Speed up recovery from injury and illness
- Improve our mental health
Finding the perfect balance between the ups and downs of life and a fulfilling fitness routine and healthy diet looks different for everyone, and I’m here to help you define and achieve it.
How I got started
I’ve always been passionate about fitness, but that’s not why I became a personal trainer. I entered this industry because I want to help people.
I’m extremely invested in health education — I also work as a content strategist for a health advocacy organization, where I help create content for people affected by breast cancer. When digging into the research on how exercise can help reduce the risk of developing cancer, risk of recurrence after an initial diagnosis, and even alleviate treatment side effects, it suddenly clicked: I can use my knowledge and expertise to help people live healthier, longer lives, regardless of their current health status.
Who I work with
I enjoy working with women who have historically struggled to integrate a fitness routine into their lives. Whether you’re a complete newbie or have tried out different things in the past without falling in love, let me help you find the perfect routine for you.
I also welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community, regardless of your gender identity.
If you have specific aesthetic goals, I can certainly help you reach them. But that’s not why I do what I do. Exercise is about much more than looking a certain way, but rather feeling a certain way.
What you can expect from me
I’m here to teach you, support you, and help you reach your goals. I will never make you feel intimidated or inadequate. Together, we can set goals, make plans, break down barriers, and find the joy in movement and healthy eating.
Nutrition coaching
A diet consisting of mostly nutrient-dense foods is important for everyone, but especially if you’re active. If you want to take your fitness training to the next level, ask me about adding nutrition coaching to your plan.
Confident in your fitness abilities, but need a hand with your nutrition? I can help.
